Quilter's Message -". . . So many deaths (9/11/2001), yet in the years since, there have been so many more deaths of young people fighting to keep our freedom.  So many of us , who were raised in America, don't even think about our freedom; we take it for granted . . . This is why America is so beautiful, because it gives freedom to everyone. . ."

We quilted this with a  pattern of stars connected with ribbons to echo the star and stripes piecing design.
